The Task Overview page (available only to the Project Manager) provides a list of all updates (edits, comments, date & time) made to tasks associated with the current Project.

 

The Task Overview page includes the following features:

Column

Description

Task

Displays the task title.

Comments

Displays the history of changes made to the task from the most recent to the oldest.

Comment Date

Displays the date and time of the last edit to the task.

Icon

The Project Manager has full permission for all tasks in the Project.

Use the Show All Tasks link on the top of the page to see all tasks associated with a Project including the tasks where the Project Manager is neither the assignee nor the assigner.

 

The Task List page includes the following features:

Column

Description

Click the Complete button to mark a task as complete without opening the task to edit it. This feature sets the Status of the task to ‘Completed’
and % Completed as ‘Hundred.’ The task is then listed under the Completed tab.

Click the Edit button to edit the task fields such as Description, Status, % Completed and Comments.

Click the Delete button to delete a task.

Title

Displays the task title. The hyperlink can be used to navigate to the Task View page.

Due Date

Displays the date in which this task must be completed. If the task has exceeded the due date, the date is displayed in red text.

Created by

Displays the name of the person who created the task.

Priority

Displays the priority setting for the task.

Assigned To

Displays a list of Project members assigned to the task.

Icon

Tasks in the Completed or Closed status appear in the listing as strike-through text (i.e. strike through text).
