If the Add button is not clicked, the enemy relationship is not saved when the item is submitted.

    • Save button: Save the item changes and stay on the Write Question page.

Limit to which items can be made as enemies

    Icon

Enemies cannot be created between items that are in the Draft, Rejected, Imported or Obsolete state, or for items that belong to the same case, section, or exam. Any of these types of items must be removed from the case, section, or exam (unless the exam is set to allow enemies) before the enemy relationship can be established. If an item is cloned, the clone does not become part of the enemy set to which the parent belongs. The clone must be designated as an enemy separately.

Automatic creation of enemies for duplicate items

    Icon

If the Project Manager attempts to upload items that have the same text as other items already in the system, the enemy relationships are automatically created for those items. This can be managed under Manage Import Enemies.

    Permissions

If the user has Write/Review/Case Write permission, then the user can add enemies items to which they have submitted.

If the user has Write/Review/Case Write and also View permission, then they can create enemies with items that will be listed for the Observer configuration.
