You can use the Case History feature to look at how the case has been generated. Looking into the case history of any case, you can see the order of the Items added/submitted to the case, as well as the modifications made to the case details.

 

  1. Select the Develop Questions → Cases → View Cases menu.
  2. There are two methods of opening the Case History.
    1. Click the  View icon for the desired case.
    2. Click the  edit icon for the desired case and then click the Case History button on the Add/Edit Case page.
  3. The Case History pop-up window opens and displays details about the exhibit language, exhibit text (including any assets), and all items assigned to the case.
  4. Use the First, Previous, Next, and Last buttons to navigate to different windows to see the order of the items added/submitted to the case, the instance in which the item was added to the case, and the modifications carried out to the case details.

    The Case History is updated with a new Revision any time changes are made to the case. A new revision is created if items are added or removed from the case, if the order of the items is changed, or if the Lock Response is changed for any of the items.

    Changes to the exhibit text do not affect the revisions for the case. Since the exhibit text is treated as a separate Display-Type item, any changes to the exhibit text are applied to the Question History, not the Case History.



  5. The Items table on the Case History page includes the following details.

    Column

    Description

    StateThe current state of the item

    Question

    The system generated ID for the item

    Blueprint

    The Blueprint ID of the item

    Written By

    The author/writer of the item

    Question Stem

    The text of the Question Stem

    Type

    Identifies if the type of item

    Lock ResponseIdentifies if lock response is applied to the item as "Yes" or "No"



  6. Double-click Assets listed in the exhibit text. Details about the asset are displayed in a pop-up window.
    1. Click the Full Size link to open a full size image of the asset in a new tab.
    2. Click the Download button to begin downloading the image with original size and dimensions.
    3. Click Add Comment to add a comment for the asset.
    4. Close the Asset Details window.

  7. Click a Question link to open the Question Summary. Close the Question Summary window.

    If you have added Restrictions on Fill in the Blank type items, the Question Summary report lists an Information icon. Balance your mouse pointer over the Information icon and a pop-up Restrictions table identifies the restrictions placed on the Answer Option.
