New canvas editor for Point & Click item type

Pages/Feature:

Point & Click item type, Write Question, Modify Question

Description:

Because Flash support is nearing end of life, the Point & Click item type canvas editor was rewritten without using Flash. Users can select existing images or upload new images using the Select/Upload Image button.

Users can add the following shapes to the image in the editor only after an image has been added to the canvas. Select the desired shape from the Shape drop-down list:

  • Rectangle
  • Ellipse
  • Polygon: To draw a polygon shape, click on the image, move the mouse to another point on the image, click and repeat. Once all edit points have been added, double-click to complete the shape. If the first and the last edit point are not connected, the application draws a line from the last selected edit point and the first edit point to complete the shape.

If an image is larger than the canvas editing area, a vertical and/or horizontal scroll bar appears allowing users to view the entire image.

See Point and Click Item Type topic for details.
