Why is there a delay of releases for remote deployment installations?

There is usually a slight delay of releases for remote deployment installations while code is compiled and packaged into an installer package.

This list is a summary of planned changes for the release and the final list of changes included may be different. Please check back after the release date for the complete list of changes included.

Export Project References in JSON report

Pages/Feature:

Manage → Reports → Custom Report - JSON output format

Description:

Users may now extract all project references into custom reports (JSON format).

When users export the custom report in JSON format, all project references (i.e., both editable and viewable, book, URL, journal, and equations) are located in the References.json file.

Each reference is identified using the following elements:

  • id - unique id for the reference
  • title - title of the Book, Journal, URL, or Equation
  • viewableOn - list of project IDs reference is viewable on (Future implementation: currently this field is not mapped to a database field so the value is listed as null until this has been implemented)
  • editableOn - project ID reference is editable on (Future implementation: currently this field is not mapped to a database field so the value is listed as null until this has been implemented)
  • refType - identifies the type of reference: Book, Journal, URL, or Equation
  • date - the date entered for the Book, Journal, or URL (not applicable for Equation)
  • isEnabled - identifies if the reference is enabled for use; true = enabled, false = not enabled
  • project - project ID of the project from which JSON is exported (Future implementation: currently this field is not mapped to a database field so the value is listed as null until this has been implemented)
  • publisher - the name of the publisher (not applicable for Equation)
  • author - the name of the author (not applicable for Equation)
  • customReferenceFormat- <p>#TITLE (#DATE) #AUTHOR/#PUBLISHER/#CHAPTER#PAGE</p> (Future implementation: currently this field is not mapped to a database field so the value is listed as null until this has been implemented)
  • description - the <img> tag detail for Equations (not applicable to other reference types) (Future implementation: currently this field is not mapped to a database field so the value is listed as null until this has been implemented)
  • edition - the edition of the book. If no edition has been set for a book, this field is blank.
