You can add comments to the Assets from Examine Asset, and Review Asset page.


This applies to the image types jpg, jpeg, gif, bmp, tif and png.




Copy Asset comments on modification: If this option is checked in the Asset configuration, then it copies all the asset comments from the original Asset to the created copy when an Asset is modified. All the comments will be shown as editable.

To add Comment:

From Examine Assets page, click Add Comment button, the pop-up comes up.




Submit For Image Edit button is enabled only if the Project has users with Asset Processing role, apart from Manager and Manage Assets role users.

Image Overlay will be displayed only for the file types jpg, png, jpeg, bmp, tif and gif.

This Submit For Image Edit button is not available for Asset Stacks.


Enter the text in Enter Text box and Annotate image by using the provided tool tip.


Enter Text field is mandatory.

Then click Save Comment button, the comment will get listed in Examine Asset page → Comment Section.


You can edit the comment by clicking  Edit icon and also delete the comment by clicking  Delete icon.

If you click Submit for Image Edit button the Asset will move to Tasks List page → Assigned By Me tab.

To access Task List page:

Click the Tasks link from the Home page; the Task List page comes up.

From this page, you can Edit and Delete the task, also change status to Completed by clicking , , and icons respectively.



If status is changed to completed the task will move to Completed tab.

Updating Task:

The user to whom the task is assigned can Update Task.



The user who has a permission for Compliance Review, Processing Review, Quality Review, and Manage Assets, only can Updates and Assign Task.




The task with the updates will get listed in Assigned To Me tab.

Click on the task title, it will display the changes you have updated on Task View page.


Only a single Comment can added to an Asset Stack, regardless of the number of Assets within it. The Comment is retained even after individual Asset files from the Stack or the entire Asset Stack is replaced.
